Abstract:
Abstract—Patterns are generated from topic models and the users information needs are generated from the collection of documents. A fundamental assumption of these approaches is that the documents in the collection are all about one topic. Topic modelling, such as Novel Information Filtering Model, was proposed to generate statistical models to represent multiple topics in a collection of documents.

Keywords Topic model, information filtering, pattern mining, relevance ranking, user interest model.
